Each day we help many people obtain a Canada Pardon and each person has a unique life story. Once the Pardon is granted, we receive thank you letters from people we have helped and often they share a part of their life and how grateful they are for receiving a Canada Pardon.
Here is a letter from a person we helped to obtain a Canada Pardon for an assault charge:
“After receiving my pardon I was elated.”
“Being a father of three its important to set the right example. To teach your children what is right and what is wrong.”
“Knowing I had a criminal record was embarassing! The fact that I couldn’t leave the country, or take a trip with my children bothered me each day.”
“When you’re young you think your invincible, untouchable by law…it takes one irrational act and one police officer to put everything back into perspective.”
“I’m thankful today to have my new found freedom. I’m certain that I will never again take my freedom for granted.”
“My hope is that my children never have to go through the trials and tribulations I did in order to have a lesson learned, and that one day I might be able to repay society for my second chance.”
