As a resource for over 5,400 government and community agencies, we provide support and information by telephone, on our website, and in-person at our all day walk-in centre.
We promote positive behaviour by giving people hope. Many people have made regrettable mistakes. Those who are no longer involved in criminal activity have a real opportunity to make a fresh start and a positive change in their lives. By removing criminal records, we help lift the stigma and shame associated with a criminal past, allowing people to feel that they belong in our society again. People who feel part of a community make better parents, citizens, and neighbours.
With the applicant’s permission, Pardons Canada undertakes all necessary steps and procedures for removing a criminal record, including: Pardons/Record Suspensions, Purges, Photograph & Fingerprint Destruction, and U.S. Entry Waivers. What you were charged with, when you went to court, what the court decided, and your personal situation, such as immigration or job circumstances, will determine what needs to be done and the order in which to do it. With over 32 years of experience, Pardons Canada knows exactly how to handle your file. We gather and process all necessary documents and get proof in writing that the criminal record is removed.

Pardons Canada will be able to confirm that you are eligible to have your record destroyed or sealed and when this will be successfully completed.

If applicable, counsellors will refer you to other community and government help organizations, such as women’s centres, ethnic associations, and addiction rehabilitation clinics.
